I recommend getting a modified one online as the cost to pay someone to modify will be similar to getting a second hand modified one.
Like others said, without modification, you need really high ISO or long exposures.
Using Medium to host news articles gives me the ick. Especially since the author isn’t the primary source, or a news agency. The information in the article is covered by news agencies, notably Associated Press themselves.
