To add on to the theory part. Don't just read it, watch it too! There are a lot of YouTubers out there that do a good job covering it. Also, keep in mind if you're reading older theory, there's probably better versions of it out now. Stuff that has had more time to cook and is more applicable to what's happening today.

Just be aware that people might be into 4B for the purpose of man-hating. A lot of times man-hating extends to transphobia.

The ideological basis is strong.

It pits the well being of the customer against the well being of the server. It's a pretty evil system. Pay everyone a living wage. Everybody deserves to live.

Information bubbles. The bourgeoisie owns pretty much everything in the US now. Including all of the media. Basically, if you have two brain cells to rub together, you have seeked out media that is more honest. If you don't have the time or the brain cells, you basically sit in front of Fox News all day. This means that many Americans disagree about what the facts are. Those people that vote for Trump aren't racist or stupid. They're just misinformed. And as a result lots of people are going to be hurt because a handful of people with more money than makes sense control everything and are afraid that nice things for everyone will cut into their bottom line.

There are many and they're all bad.

I like it when they grow a spine and tell the truth about what they believe. It makes it easier for the normies to figure it out and leave the group.

I've been married for 7 years. I do ask my wife how her day was, but that is because I actually care. How can people do this with strangers? Is it just assumed everyone is asking everyone else how their day was even if they don't actually care?
