I don't know if he believed this way when he was in Germany, but he only studied there and came back to the USA after for the rest of his life. But I agree he's a special kind of stupid.

My Dad is a Hitler supporter and Holocaust denier and he has a bachelor's degree and even studied in Germany. Wild how he can believe such things, so it's not just the ones who can't read who believe this crap. 🫠

My initial thoughts exactly.

Why not put Tuvix in the pattern buffer, copy his pattern to storage, separate one copy of the pattern into Tuvok and Neelix, then transfer the Tuvix pattern back before rematerializing him thus saving all 3?

Wow! That's going to save the state of Texas so much money! It's expensive to house people against their will for enjoying forbidden plants in their own homes. πŸ™„

Do the easiest part first to prove it can be done successfully. It's the pilot basically.

A Dr will never prescribe LSD lol

The founder of Alcoholics Anonymous considered LSD to be a great tool to help alcoholics recover. Thank goodness you had that LSD! It changed your life!

In what world is $34k not considered poverty levels for a family of 4 in the USA? WTF?

Well, the USD is worth 15% less today than it was when the consoles launched. As such, keeping the price the same is the same as discounting it with a stable currency. The price today is the same as $425 at launch, so prices have come down we just don't see it reflected in the dollar price.

When I think about bills, I annualize them. $30 a month? That's $360 a year. $5/mo? $60 a year.

I use this to help me grasp the long term cost of all my decisions, but nobody else I know does this.

For instance, my brother and I are moving soon into 2 separate apartments (we currently share a 2 bedroom) and the new complex doesn't have Google Fiber Internet. I complained to my brother that on top of everything else I'll have to pay $5/mo extra for Google extended storage I was getting for free.

He said it's only $5/mo, just get and don't worry about it. I was like, that's $60 a year which is basically a Costco membership. He said "oh hmm, good point yeah"

So I'll work on reducing my storage usage on Google to be able to stay on the free tier, but am I alone in thinking this way about everything I buy?
