Yea I’m about to immigrate to Germany, going through the contract with HR and all the clauses around leave and overtime were astounding. I thought I had it good in ANZ, but this is fantastic.

For anyone else who wondered how a teenage website dev could also be a millennial, in 2024, (and didn’t want to read the article) he died of lukemia in 2006 at age 15.

Boar Taint would be an excellent metal band name.
Probably people picking up meat that has spoiled/not knowing what to do with it, and getting sick. @BirdEnjoyer said a friend of theirs has to unironically tell people not to pick up anything they didn’t hit themselves.
I agree with the sentiment though, good food shouldn’t go to waste.
Have you read the Foundation series yet? I found the first book (chronologically written, not the universe timeline) a challenge to follow initially, but once I got into Asimov’s style I found the whole series quite enjoyable.
Yeah I tend to agree, I schedule things with people across the world regularly and coordinating the time zones and business hours is a pain. If everyone used the same clock it would eliminate part of that issue.

I understand the science behind this, but I routinely use weed just before bed and have the same amount of dreams (that I remember, at least) as when I take an extended break. From experience I don’t think the sleep/dream disruption is as heavy as they say.
