The dude wasn't great before Brady and wasn't great after Brady. What's there to question? Decent to good coach who lucked into having the GOAT at QB.

I'm not saying every coach would have been as successful as Billy B, but you take swap him out with guys like Dungy, Tomlin, and Holmgren, and you're having the same or better results

The biggest thing holding Rivers back is West Coast bias. If he'd been playing in a major market, he would have been a first rounder, no question.

I've always thought that Big Ben is more product of great team play and coaching than his own skill.

He's played under two hall of fame coaches compared to the other QBs who had a revolving door of coaches but still constantly produced.
