Is that just a think people say or are there studies or books about this?

I used to search with site:reddit.com
, but the quality of research results got much worse within the last years. For big investments like let's say a new washing machine I use a more or less independent website that tests different devices, it costs about 5€ to see the results.
All in all I need much, much more time to do research. Often I simply do not buy anything in the end. It is very frustrating.
I switched to Linux Mint, it helped as well!
- The search in the start menu searching the fucking web with bing instead of my computer
- Accidentally hitting F1 and Edge immediately opens with some "help"
What's a "FOCK"?
I agree and do not further engage in this discussion to not induce any more confusion ;)

I had an Acer of the same series with that sticker. When that notebook was produced, 2k or 4k was not a thing. We were in the era of transitioning from what we called "HD-Ready" or 720p to "FullHD" or 1080p. These numbers refer to the rows, so the horizontal resolution. At least for me that number is pretty clear I immediately know what it means. I bought that notebook in late 2018 I highly doubt this sticker exists anymore.
The era I'm talking about is like 5-8 years ago btw
I admit the times I smoke regularly are over for a couple of years now. Tolerance is a thing, but my experience with edibles is that the effect is not as strong. The last time I baked the brownies I had 80% left because I expect them to be weaker. I gifted them to different friends who each smoke daily, they were very happy with the effects.
However, I think solving the THC in fat is the most important step of all. I baked a couple of times without decarbing before in the oven, I got high af as well. Try to focus more on the butter and be cautious with the heat (butter should very slowly make bubbles while cooking). I would be very interested to know how it goes.
Making edibles is definitively more effort than smoking. But it's more healthy and you can make a lot of butter and freeze it if you plan to consume this way long-term.
Maybe it's the recipe? After decarbing put butter and the weed into a pot, cook very gently for as long as you have time. Once you get annoyed from waiting, it's ready.
I did this a couple of times and then just normally baked brownies with it. 2-3 hours after a brownie with 0.1-0.2 g and I am flying to the moon.
I read a lot of stuff on Lemmy within the last year that was way over the top. I don't know if it's because this is the only comment below this post at the time of writing that I feel this way, but I am deeply disgusted. As a German knowing our European history very well, I find your comment very concerning.
