Separate account.

I really do hope the ultimate subscription will include Standard Notes in the future.

They are not really saying much about their plans for Standard Notes though.

I guess getting them up to par with Proton in security is a good step towards integrating the services.

Imo having lawsuits as a normal expected step in the healthcare system is ridiculous in depth, not just on the surface.

The victim might get compensated in the end, but having to go through lawsuits is just stupid.

This is great news!

Mint is my choice of weapon when it comes to desktop Linux and I have been eyeing the Framework 13 for quite some time now.

These days I'd recommend Clone Hero

I love the simplicity in the colour palette and the subject.

It is like a gradient with a wave.

TLDR; What are some good party games that encourage getting to know each other and are not centered around drinking?

A year ago I had a great party. I split all participants (maybe 16 people) into 4 teams and made a 3 game tournament which was very appreciated. This year I am hoping to replicate the good vibe we had, but I want new games.

I am now asking you; What are some good party games?

Criterias:

  • Low or no amount of randomness (to keep things competitive)
  • Reasonably easy to acquire the materials for
  • Possible to do as a team
  • Encourages interaction, either within the team, between teams or both
  • Should not be centered around drinking

If I am not mistaken, there is a "don't show me this offer again" thingy somewhere.

But as others have mentioned, it is a free service. And most importantly, this free service does not collect your data or show targrted ads to make a profit off of you when you don't pay. It is truly free. I think being asked to pay for the service is extra okay because of this.

NixOS is exactly what you want.

You declare your configs in a way that you can just copy them to another computer and it willbe configured the same way.

I've never tried it my self, but I might for my next machine.

I am looking for a new backpack for every day carry where I always want my camera gear with me (a DSLR, a filter and a couple of extra lenses).

I am looking at the Ramverk Pro Backpack (26L) with their small camera insert.

I like:

  • The simplicity
  • The design
  • The large main compartment
  • Being able to simply add or remove all camera gear by adding or removing the camera insert

I don't like:

  • No water bottle holder
  • No quick access to camera
  • To few images showcasing the insert in the bag

Do any of you have this setup? Do you like it?

Would you recommend something else?

I just started "playing" Street Complete and noticed there was no way to add stuff like new bemches amd trash cans to the map. I found the "create note" feature and started using that for this purpose.

Before I continue like thisI just wamted to check with you guys and see; Am I doing this right?

I made some note about a new trash can, some new bench and some new stairs.

What are some good recommendations on books (physical or digital) on photography I can read to become a better photographer?

I have had my Nikon D3200 for about a year now and am having lots of fun with it. Now that I will soon have some time off from work, I want to improve my skills and become a better photographer.

I have learned and now understand the basics of the exposure triangle and how to use these settings to create different effects as desired.

What I think I need the most is to become better at composition and finding the right angles that give a shot its depth.

What literature would you recommend I read during my time off to become better?

You can see my journey in my posts here on Lemmy, or for a more easily digestible format, check out my Mastodon account.

If something needs more information, just ask, and I'll reply.

I appreciate any advice you have for me.
