I am not really shocked because the only way to really beat Reddit is by leaving the platform completely as in what many did when Melon Husk took over Twitter. Mass exodus. Express displeasure by voting with your feet and GTFO.

Good! Large fines create a meaningful deterrent for bad behavior.
Even older Brothers bought used or refurbished are any excellent buy. They're workhorses. Anybody concerned could just buy an Asurion warranty to go along with it.
On another note, Brother laser printers are a really good buy. I have a used one that won't die and still on its original fuser assembly. Something like this from Amazon should work gangbusters. Just get an Asurion warranty just in case but Brothers are workhorses. And indeed the MFC-L2690DW does work with Linux.
I don't believe it's all that difficult. Best idea is to check either brother's website or the brlaser project on github. Here is something for you to read over.
Well, to use the ActivityPub protocol and operate like Lemmy and Mastodon for example. Also see Pixelfed and PeerTube as examples.
Your project looks interesting. Do you have plans to give snapify the ability to federate and share with others?
I personally dislike antidepressants intensely. But the alternative is far worse. Antidepressants dull all sensation. It takes a lot to make me laugh. It takes me even longer to want or be ready for sex. All I feel is a great and vast emptiness. But that's better than being actively suicidal as I've been there as well.
If you continue to make strides through CBT, then I'd consider psych medications unnecessary. They should be a last resort because of the unpleasant side effects.
As much as I Iike and respect Slackware and Patrick Volkerding, I would go with Arch if I were you. According to the change logs, the last commit was June 23rd of this year. Arch is more actively worked on and developed. I learned Linux on Slackware so I will always be partial to it, just like I learned Unix on OpenBSD and will be partial to it as well. But for me, Arch is the way to go for Linux. Arch's wiki is fantastic.
Agreed! Also smaller packet sizes.
I have IPv6 connectivity through Verizon FiOS. The trouble is that in my area it is poorly implemented and markedly slower than IPv4. I would much rather use 6 but not at a performance penalty.
I've got mad respect for SUSE. They've always played fair with open source. But I found Arch to be ideal for gaming. I may get down voted but Arch plays all my Steam games excellently. Granted I haven't tried openSUSE out for that kind of thing. My last two remaining client from my business, a doctor and an attorney, I have using openSUSE on their laptops and desktops. They use SUSE Linux Enterprise on the server. It's fucking bulletproof. The Maytag of Linux. I'm thinking about killing my free Alma Linux Oracle VM and putting SLES or openSUSE in its place. I like the direction SUSE is headed.
