OP, don't listen to anyone. Just take your headphones to a shop and hear it for yourself. If you can't tell any difference then congrats you saved yourself a lot a money. Cheers!

Just goto Tyll's reviews. I am not engaging in this topic on this sub again and again. So I let the legend in audio reviews speak himself.

YES. A LOT. Hd6-- series are popular for the FACT that they scale very nicely with the chain. Just go back Tyll's website/video if you don't want to take my word for it.

All those who use hd6-- with cheap or meh amps and then say they are unimpressed. There are hoards of audiophiles who after spending thousands come back to the senny and otl combo as their go to and retire happily.

I have them. They were my first good headphones, sadly those bands are very weak. It's still lying in my cupboard for years now in hope I will be able to replace them. They sound like closed back hd650s if you have decent gear.

That headphone design is going to be a nightmare for seal and comfort.

Pls don't post scores. Not everyone has seen the match. This is why I unfollowed r/soccer

Audio engineers use high impedance as a tool to tune the drivers. Yes you will need an amplifier to proper sound. Underpowered it won't impress you like most on this sub cry they aren't impressed by hd6 series but still suggest it doesn't require an amp.
