But his contract is an albatross and he hasn’t proven to be a winning player or worth remotely close to 40m. DeRozan is a billion years old and can’t shoot a 3 and needs to be paid. People assume they are worth a bag of chips, because they are worth a bag of chips, the bulls best bet is to get what they can and to get off the contracts so you can tank/play younger talent
