Zach Levine is literally just Beal, Beal was traded for nothing. He Is worth more because he doesn’t have a no trade. But his contract is an albatross and he hasn’t proven to be a winning player or worth remotely close to 40m. DeRozan is a billion years old and can’t shoot a 3 and needs to be paid. People assume they are worth a bag of chips, because they are worth a bag of chips, the bulls best bet is to get what they can and to get off the contracts so you can tank/play younger talent

I know you don't watch the Bulls if you did you would be aware that the Bulls don't have any draft capacity till 2030. That we only have our 2024 first-round pick. Because of the bad trade for Vuc DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball Sign and Trade
Now that depends really… Is the pop any soda or just a coke? Which can also means any soda, dependent on the region you live in lol
LaVine for Vdub and Sochan
Is it autism awareness month or something
Are you saying Bulls fans are being unrealistic or fans from other teams are? Personally I've seen very reasonable and batshit crazy trade ideas from both.
The Bulls are a mid team. Mid teams lose first-round of playoffs and get shit draft picks. Worst spot to be is a Mid team.
wym they will trade all that for Cam Reddish
Lavine has the contract of a superstar and is barely an all star
Derozan is a wing who can neither shoot nor defend his position
Vucevic is a center who has 0 defensive versatility
Caruso is an AWESOME role player but can't really play starter's mins
Wishful thinking
Because that's what they're worth
Welcome to the internet.
You’re trading Caruso for Gabe Vincent and a FRP and you’re gonna like it
The contenders don’t have the assets for them and the teams that do don’t want them. None of those players are franchise 1A options so you aren’t getting a Donovan Mitchell type deal at this point in their careers. None of those players have been as accomplished as Harden or lead the league in any stat category so any deal would be less than what the clippers gave up for him. They also don’t have ideal contracts
1A?!???!?
No team is winning shit if any of the guys listed are expected to be more than the #3 option.
And I don't even view Mitchell as a 1A franchise option.
I don’t think the care what the Bulls want and have a price they’re willing to pay. I don’t think any of them have a ton of value. Vucevic isn’t particularly good, Derozan is old and an awkward fit on most good teams, Lavine is a scorer that makes a ton of money and Caruso is a role player. The Bulls should have sold a while ago and the Vuc trade is one of the worst in history.
No, my problem is people think that the Bulls will trade them in two ways contract players and end-of-bench guys their Value is higher than that just not at Superstars level trade value. The Bulls will be looking for pieces that will grow in rebuilding that's why I put Young Players and Draft Picks the Bulls don't own any Draft picks till 2030 because of the bad Trade for DeMar DeRozan Lonzo Ball and Vuc.
I think Lavine goes for more than what the rumors are but much less than he’d have got 2-3 years ago in a trade
First day on Reddit eh?
LaVine should net a good return, but is paid as a #1 while looking like a guy who is more scorer and 3rd best player on a good team. That’s the problem, no contender is trading their top guys for him, and young guys don’t make enough to match salary. Everyone here laughed at Herro as a trade asset, is LaVine really all that different of a player?
Vuc is good, but still likely doesn’t have much of a market across the league. Grizzlies make sense on paper for this year, but idk what the package would be to make it work.
DeMar is a better player than trade asset. He’s kind of like Vuc in that regard, where a lot of teams would probably love to have them, but aren’t likely to give a ton to get them.
Probably a mix of other teams fans throwing out trash offers, and you overrating what these guys’ value is
Who wants Lavine tho
I don’t see a single playoff/play in team that he would improve
When you factor in cost/ability to acquire I could see saying that, but pure talent wise a lot of teams are playing a lesser version of him already where he’s a clear upgrade. Bucks/Beasley, Kings/Monk, Mavs/THJ, Cavs/Strus & LeVert, Rockets/Green, Raptors/Trent, Pelicans/Hawkins, Jazz/Clarkson, Pacers/Mathurin, and even Lakers/Reaves.
He might improve Toronto. But the fanbase is divided on that. We’re in a similar position to Chicago with the caveat of having a young player in Barnes to build around already.
Assuming in any Vuc trade we wouldn’t offer Clarke since we’re so thin there or Smart since we just got him, the only real way to make salaries match would be Bulls taking Adams or Kennard and then their pick of Ziaire/Laravia/Roddy.
I would imagine that latter group is not viewed as super high value assets so we would need to throw in picks. Most I could imagine us offering as a final package would be like Adams/Kennard, Ziaire/Laravia/Roddy, a protected first and maybe a swap in the near future.
That’s likely too much for our FO to stomach sending out for a 33 year old in a season where we do not seem to be contenders, and it still feels way short of what I imagine the Bulls would want back.
Welcome to Reddit, where fans want stars for nothing and want you to thank them for their shitty offers.
Because Lavine and Vuc don’t have good contracts. Contending teams will take advantage of that. they know Chicago won’t want to pay them off. Teams like the lakers don’t have the assets for a DeRozan trade so fans will convince themselves that Reaves Rui and Russell are enough.
I’m not a doctor but I think they will get at the bare minimum 8 FRP if they are to move all these guys. They also might end up eating some other bad contracts that aren’t as long. But that’s fine. They will still need to roster players.
Lavine to the Pacers for Buddy Hield and picks?
I would trade them even for a single chip, let alone bags of em. Although I don't know how you win even one by getting rid of your 4 best players. I guess that's where Pop comes in.
Because Caruso is the only player there who isn't worse than their rep.
First time?
I came in ready to sympathize with OP after YEARS of the sub demanding the raptors give away their best players for nothing, but he’s drinking the kool aid
Lavine is a third option paid like a first option, and brings zero value outside of scoring, which he isn’t elite at. Demar is old and absolutely not worth any young player right now. Vuc is like a 4th option at best on a good team; and none of these guys play any defense.
Caruso is probably the most valuable piece tbh, honestly on that contract I’d be willing to give up an FRP for him
What the Bulls will want and what the Bulls will get are not the same. Of course they’d like multiple 1sts and young players for each guy they move, it’s just not happening. All the players have something holding them back from getting a huge haul, age, contract, play. And none of those things are likely to change, so why improve the offer?
Warriors should trade CP3 and Klay plus picks for Lavine.
