Before Curry the debate was Bird, Reggie Miller, or Allen. Most gave the nod to Allen with appreciation for Bird playing in the wrong era for being such a weapon from downtown.

Do we not have records of precisely where the emergency medics showed up? If you just got him by a car and have serious pain over half your body, you’re clearly not moving very far.

If cameras aren’t showing anything there, then Oubre has some serious explaining to do.

Shitty defender, low BBIQ, stats are ultimately a little empty calorie because his teams don't win games.

Advanced stats are all rife with flaws and this is a perfect example.

Yes this is literally the only way this thing would ever even get agreed to by anybody.

If I had a nickel for every post trying to compare the in-season tournament to European soccer...

It's just not the same thing at all.

Follow the shooting odds.

Do you believe Cam Thomas is a 63% shooter after shooting 43 and 44% the last two years? Of course not. Which means it's just a hot streak.

He'll soon have a couple of 25% shooting games to offset the hot start and things will reach equilibrium again around 44%. Once that happens, the scoring average will plummet from 30 back down to 15.

KG’s prime on the Wolves totally overlapped the dead scoring era of 95 points a game.

His 24 points a game season was a league average of 93. Last season the league average was 115. That 24 points would literally be the equivalent of 30 last year.

Dude was an elite scorer. If you’re going to bash a guy you really need to get your ducks in a row and better understand the context of the era.

Keep up posts like these and he’s going to be the most hated player in the league by the time voting comes around.

Maxey as a #3 with an MVP as the #1 has yet to get past the 2nd round.

Of those 3 names Herro is the best player - by far the most well-rounded.

Maxey is more a version of Poole who actually hits his shots.

Always cheer for your local team. The only real exception is if you once lived somewhere else and already had a team.

Anything else is lame and just looks like you're hopping on a bandwagon for some elite team or up and coming team.

Also, for all practical purposes, the local team is the one that's going to be on tv 82 times a year for you, the one you can most easily go to games for, and the one that everybody is going to be cheering for around you. So why would you not just root for them?

Hot take: Big men have always dominated this game, no matter the era. Basketball is fundamentally a sport where height just provides a massive advantage.

We just went through a couple year stretch after the KG/Duncan/Dirk era where the talent at the big spot was a little lacking. But it really wasn't long at all before those guys fell off and guys like AD, KAT, Embiid, Jokic, etc took over.
