It's funny you mention the ACA, since what we have now came from Republicans absolutely gutting the original ACA proposal which should surprise absolutely no one since the GOP is bought and paid for by insurance companies.

I get what you're saying, but apathy at that scale isn't calling democrats a horse. It's taking a backseat on your future.

"I know why she lost"

She lost because 11 million people sat out this election. That's it, that's all there is.

The fact is that most of this country leans blue, and when voters turn out, blue typically wins. This is why the GOP is doing everything they can to make sure people don't vote.

Trump has a vote ceiling of around 74, maybe 75 million. In 2020, 81 million people voted for Biden.

There's an old addage when working with any Microsoft product:

"Wait longer"

In other words, your first click was probably doing its thing. You just needed to wait a little longer to see it work.

In America, you can't open a bank account without an address. That means that the homeless population can't open a bank account (not easily, anyway), and therefore can't get a debit card.

Cashless is a nice idea, but it is extremely prohibitive against the most vulnerable people (which, sadly, might be part of the point).

How did I know Elon was attached to this before I even clicked the article?

Why is Trump allowed to keep spreading this unethical horseshit?

He said $30,000 for the cybertruck too. $30,000 just seems to be his "I don't really know the price" price.

Systemic regression of education priority + non-stop conspiratorial propaganda. I was born and grew up in the US and have seen the shift first-hand.

At least what you're seeing here is still just a very loud minority.

The sad thing is there are actual people out there who would believe this sooner than they'd see climate change as the cause.

That's the plan though, right? ~~GOP~~ Politicians want to convince people that everything good for them is bad so they can make their rich friends richer.
