Vaping is nothing compared to what they could buy with the money they spent on the whatever exorbitant price this surely costs.

I do recommend NOT watching YouTube Obsidian “gurus”, their system works for them not you.
One of these is actually what got me started with it. I do not rigidly adhere to their system but it was a nice starting point I have since adapted to my own style. If I had gone into it blind I would have made a lot less progress because I'm kind of dumb when I have nothing to go off.
It's not about the vaping it's about teaching them to not waste public money on stupid shit.
A few years ago I was responsible for provisioning accounts in an application with a shitty admin UI. The process for doing so was to create the account and then give the account access it required by clicking in the list of available access and then clicking the arrow to move it over to the assigned list. Or you could just double click on it. To remove access you did the same thing from the assigned list to the available list. Or you could go into a particular item and remove the accounts from it that way. One day I was working through terminating a department that had been laid off when I noticed that on one of the largest access items the account list only had names up to "j" in the alphabet. Apparently my mouse had developed a double click problem and I had managed to select the bottom half of that list. I did not have access to any logs or anything that would allow me to reverse that change and it was a Saturday so I was basically fucked until Monday morning when I could contact the application support and they could hopefully fix it.
My grandfather used to wrap our presents in the comics pages from newspapers when I was a kid. I loved it.
Imagine paying taxes for education and they spend it on shit like this.
Don't surgeries usually have other assistants in the OR as well? Nobody was like "uh, hell no" to this guy bringing a child in and then letting her drill a hole in someone?
My point is that everyone focuses on the wrong problem when shit like this happens. Guns are a distraction. Society is failing people like this and he should have received help long before he ever got to the point of crisis. He was looking at losing his home, you can't therapy your way out of that and it's not something he nor anyone else should ever have to fear. The only reason we even hear about things like this is usually because someone lashes out violently or harms themselves. If there were proper safety nets in place to provide for them they could be surrounded by guns and not have an issue (barring actual mental problems that make them dangerous but these would also be caught if people were getting proper care).
Mine doesn't reboot on it's own and I don't recall ever changing any settings to prevent it other than messing with the thing OP is talking about which wouldn't let me turn it off. I get nag screens daily after a while but it never actually restarts. Maybe one of my applications prevents it or something.
Implying I can understand the documentation even when it's available.
They built a one way tunnel system just to put taxis in? Why not a subway that could move way more people faster?
We have to get those astronauts boeing stranded up there back somehow...
