I agree it’s important we have our own tech industry. But in the case of LLMs in specifically, in my opinion best-case would be to have China / US develop open source models, like they currently are. Let them waste the money! :)

Okay well, I did. It was on the iOS Telegram client, US phone number. Maybe Pavel pushed it only to certain clients.

What I found most alarming about this whole thing: this post showed up in the Telegram app for me, in a banner. I don’t follow Durov’s channel. He decided to push it to every Telegram client regardless of whether they’re following him.

And he posted it to his Telegram channel, too: https://t.me/durov/452

Uhh, what does it mean to “practice sharia law”? These laws aren’t in force anywhere in the US.

I can only assume attacks against this man are constantly being planned. Only difference now is that campaigning is in full force now elections are nearing – so Geert can use this to his advantage.

I know this whole post is a joke, but I just wanted to say that when using a VPN, you’re not ”entrusting them with all your data security needs.”

The MPA can try all they want, they’ll never defeat piracy.
