I’m old enough to remember bill clowning the Lakers for the trade of AD (among other media members) saying they mortgaged the future, got fleeced blah blah blah and how, conversely, the Clippers were brilliant with their brain trust of West, Lawrence Frank etc etc. hmmmmmmmm
