I hope that these people continue in their refusal to take the court seriously. It used to frustrate me, but I’ve realized that it’s much better than endless delaying tactics and other legal shenanigans.

The only thing more surprising than this monument’s existence is the fact that it took thirty years for people to actually notice and start making an issue of it.
Judge: “Submit fair maps to the court by x date. If you can’t manage that, we’ll let the opposition decide what’s fair, and go with their map.”
Case closed. This is an effective solution no matter who is in charge.
That’s obviously an oversimplification, but nothing motivates people like the fear of benefitting their enemies.
Personally, I think Rupert is definitely worse. SOME of those viewers are otherwise good people, but they’ve been fed too much of Rupert’s propaganda.
Nope. CNN is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, and was founded by Ted Turner. Fox News is owned by Fox Corporation, and was founded by Rupert Murdock.
Understandable mistake. It’s easy to forget those people aren’t the same guy.
While unethical, the behavior is typical for Fox News. The outlet often breaks traditional news ethics and traffics in dishonest reporting and commentary.
Even though CNN is their competitor, I’m pleasantly surprised by their bluntness here.
He retired from hosting the show a while ago (Drew Carey has hosted since 2007). Maybe that’s what you remember, and somewhere along the line, your memory mistakenly replaced “retired” with “died”.
That’s my boring, single-universe guess, anyway.

I will always associate The Price Is Right with staying home sick from school.
I like my coworkers enough that I don’t want to put them in a position where they might have to choose between “snitching” and loyalty to me.
It’s not fair to expect another to put their job (or reputation with management) at risk, just for my benefit. If I did expect it, that would make me a selfish prick who didn’t deserve their friendship in the first place.
