And what we must still do, regularly, to fight against people taking social rights from us. This is a hard thing to do, and we have lost a few battles lately.

Here in France it is punishable by law to fire someone during a maternity leave. This should be the norm, and then some.

Because we only have a relative majority and now Macron is teaming up with the hard right (not the far right, the other right right that is not center right... Yeah, too much right is wrong) to deprive us of any path to government. Shit sucks. But it could have sucked way harder.

Communism is a political philosophy which in and of itself does not advocate for oppression. There is indeed nothing wrong with it, at least if you advocate for freedom of thought.

The Stalinist version of authoritarianism has been conflated with communism by american (mostly) media during the cold war. It is however a very specific ideology.

Apologists for authoritarian regimes, whatever their political leaning, deserve no platform or tolerance. Plurality of thought however is needed and essential.

She'll probably do it herself at this rate.

The fact that this is actually legal makes me glad to live in the EU. Damn, this shit is bleak.

Spoilers are not being hidden in boost whereas they are in the basic UI. See this example .

Edit: markdown seems to be broken as a whole but only for my own posts.

Any time I put the device to sleep, the top bar disappears on resume and I cannot get back to or launch any game. They do launch, but the menu window keeps focus and prevents me from accessing them.

I've gone through several stable updates and the issue remains.

Has anyone had the same issue ? Is there any fix short of reimaging ?

Edit: workaround thanks to Blxter@lemmy.zip:

"Found a temporary work-around - it's somehow related to the "Wake Movie." In the Steam menu on the left, go to "Settings," down to "Customization," then turn off "Use as wake movie." Should work the next time you "Sleep" "
