You can build most of the side projects for free. There's free tier for almost everything. Build it and if it gets traction and you get users then you can scale it using the revenue.

MVPs should be focused on one or at max two core features that are the foundation of your product.
Yes based on the UI/UX it's hard to differentiate between MVP and launched product because it has become a lot easier to build decent UI/UX faster. I believe as long as the UI/UX is decent(it doesn't need to be great) you're good to go.
Join indiehackers. There you can find tons of posts about validation and marketing strategies. Everyday peole share their experiences and insights on how they are doing it.
It depends on you and what you're building. But mostly on you.
If you can go solo that's great, more equity more $$. But if you need a co-founder or a team, then the most important thing will be finding people with the same vision and wavelength, which is very hard. But if you do, you can build faster and better.
So yeah it totally depends on you.
