The answer is not letting any company grow into a monopoly. There are actual laws against that. Break up existing monopolies. Then make business owners way more accountable than they are today. I know it is hard to prove intent in fraud cases, but any sort of creative accounting, transfer of debt between companies, bonuses that aren't in alignment with company performance, stock buybacks and other manipulations of valuation, and a myriad other obvious fraudulent behaviors should be punished with long prison time.

Productivity is a collective achievement. AI in its current form increases individual output (not necessarily good output) without any way to support consensus, alignment, understanding, etc. Without AI supported collaboration, AI supported individual productivity makes everything go very fast in every direction. Sounds like you read some Libertarian treatise about how scarcity of gold lends value to the money itself. Same thinking brought you bitcoin, look at how that's going. Money doesn't have to have intrinsic value, it just has to act as a good store of value. In terms of purchasing power. Which means that if I save the amount of money that buys me X% of the global economic output this year (X being a very small but non-zero number), I should be able to buy X% of economic output in 40 years when I retire. That is, a good monetary system follows the ebb and flow of economic output, instead of being artificially limited by scarcity, or artificially inflated by central banks.
