Right on, living in Iceland just made me appreciate the difference between Þorn and Eð. Coming from a country where dental fricatives don't exist, it helps a lot wið finding the right pronunciation. Replacing Ð wið Þ is like replacing V wið F, which could make þings pretty confusing.

I agree wið you, but I'm just boðered by ðe lack of Ð in your message. Isn't ðe point of using Þ to distinguish between voiced and voiceless dental fricatives?

Possibly even longer, people biking might switch to using cars and more than 2 car lanes doesn't do shit.

Window managers in Linux take direct command from the display server (Xorg, Wayland, etc.) to decide where to position windows and what they should look like. Whereas "window managers" on MacOS/Windows are tricking the original window manager provided by the OS into positioning windows a certain way. I'm simplifying here, but hope that clears things up.

A nice day for a hike to around the craters and to the top. Snow shoes required!

Looking out over (from left to right) Bifröst (town), Hreðavatn (lake), Grábrókarfell (crater), Hraunsnefsöxl (mountain peak). The mountain range in the background has been seeing increased seismic activity over the last couple of months.
