Yes, they may want to know how much you love watches. Watchmaking is complicated, so people without passion may be difficult to adapt.
It's a beautiful watch. Glad you use it daily even when roasting coffee :) - I bet the coffee tasted good :)
There are plenty of options. Just head to the "Buying Guide". At that price range, Orient Kamasu is the popular candidate. If you prefer more tailored suggestion, it's better to also add your wrist width and your preferable style.

I agree and I think the navitimer is one of the most iconic breitling model, especially the chronograph version.
I don't really know why, but if I may guess, a lot of people in this sub tend to want a steel bracelet and the navitimer doesn't come with it. The second one is that a lot of people prefer clean look, while the navitimer is quite busy.

Just put the hobby aside for now. It happened to me a while ago as well, but then it came back again :)
Chinese watch is like hit and miss as we don't know which brand makes good watches. One that I purchased from, it looks similar to the photo, but the details don't look neat. Furthermore, regulation still needs a lot more work, even for one that use Miyota 9 series.
LOL. I thought it was because they designed it that way. Anyway, it's good if somebody make a small second that is just right in the middle at affordable price :) Even Nomos with their relatively new in-house movement is also not right in the middle :(
I think so too. Mido is a well made watch.
