I've been liking Mr. Einstein's Secretary by Matthew Reilly so far. It's far from his usual high octane thrillers (my guilty pleasures) and is written very well.

Yeah the tmobile app is wonky, but at least the message and call go through regular call/sms. It's been pretty good so far.

Thanks for the thoughts. It's mainly to keep track of and communicate with her when she's playing in the community and at school. My biggest concern is that she's going to get distracted with the watch and get in trouble at school or at home.

Just finished watching Beekeeper. Am I the only one to think the end of the movie was pretty much a ripoff of Terminal List?? (programming.dev)

I tested by making a report on homeimprovement@lemmy.world. I can see it in my reports page on my lemmy.world account, but my programming.dev account reports page still doesn't show any reports.

Such an impactful movie. I think the length of the movie really made it. They could have been a little more clear and elaborate at the end about what happened to the people involved. I didn't keep track of the years, and 1957 and other years they mentioned meant nothing to me. I went and read the Wikipedia of King and Earnest, and that made me feel a lot more shock and anger than the end of the movie. Overall a haunting masterpiece. What did you think of it?

All the solutions I'm seeing are some third party service where I would have to upload my videos to them to get them transcribed.
