Hey guys, I've been looking into starting a clothing brand and I've got all the basic stuff down like the concept and whatnot but I've been thinking alot about the market. And I want to sell items that people actually want and need.

What do you guys feel is needed within the fashion industry that is difficult to find as the title suggests?

I am indeed, and I'm compelled to buy the product, it's genuinely something I'd put my money into knowing it's tried and tested instead of buying loads of the cheaper options bc they always snap

I've had this whole thought process but at the end of the day, it's just you and your business and your life. don't let the fear of people or opinions get the better of you. Someone said to record videos and not post and that's a great place to start. You could even record videos without having your face in it. For example if it's a clothing business, have other people wear the clothing and you do the voice overs for videos.

There's a quote a live by that I think might help: "The cost of procrastination and fear is the life you could've lived."

Good luck!!

Try Ebay, maybe even auctioning?

Try DMing people on LinkedIn asking for advice etc.

Try looking locally, but if not then alibaba is always an option. Unfortunately, it can be rather difficult to find manufacturers that are reasonably priced :(

Honestly, I love the website, it has a great video for demonstration and is straight to the point which is so important bc the buyer wouldn't feel confused as to what the product is.

Start by building up your skillset, and this can be done with absolutely no money bc you can do a simple YouTube search and learn. Find things you enjoy and are good at, and get great at it. Then market and sell those skills. For example, if you're good at knitting, expand on that, become really good at it and market that on tiktok etc. and you could turn that into a business by either teaching other people online or selling pieces that you've made.

Hope that helps!!
