Hello everyone!

A couple of days ago I started running ads to my landing page and after 124 clicks and 0 sales I scraped it completely and started over.

Here is the new page: https://repounce.com/pages/early-bird-pre-launch-offers

I only run ads to mobile-devices, so this is completely optimized for mobile. It looks a bit whacky on desktop.

Now, I really hope that this one performs, but it would be great to get feedback from some of you on what you would change!

Thanks, really appreciate it!

I don't have a background in what the product is (not a pet person) but I felt the video on the first fold moved too fast , especially the transition between the main copy and the follow up line Also video + moving text together confuses me where to focus. Is text the core message or the video?

It’s pretty good 😊 gets to the point- I would also suggest adding a gifting option for those of us who dont have cats but have friends that do!

Thanks a lot!

Your pre-launch banner should say “with free shipping” not “for free shipping”. I also don’t like that I can’t see the price until I click on the preorder button, idk if that’s standard practice or just me

[–] Alarmed-Security-434@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Looks like a sex thing when the cats aren't there

[–] Captain_taco27@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The reviews are fake, instantly loses consumer trust.

[–] thomasmagnum@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I have cats so I'm your target market. Your page does not tell me - at all - why your cat toy is better than the others.

It doesn't break... is it metal? Really the video is terrible. Work on a better video and it'll double as social ads.

“Pre order” on the button makes me think I’m signing up to some sort of fundraising. If I but this is it getting shipped to me right away?

[–] Key_Bridge_3514@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Video is too low res

[–] jibrie8@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Video is not good.

Pictures are not good.

Start with your question (problem statement) "Tired of cats..", and then "Meet Forever Stick".

[–] clubkoolio@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Landing page needs to be the page you can buy the product on, not the home page.

I liked it. Nice website

[–] junglepiehelmet@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The video launches for me without sound and is not good quality. Its very grainy.

The "Meet Forever Stick" text box overlaps the video awkwardly and cuts out the top right corner of the video

There is a lot of space between the top text box near the video to the next text boxes. You need more even spacing.

Images are too big. You're trying to keep the text boxes the same size as the images but that creates a lot of dead space while scrolling.

The first review doesnt display the entire review for me. There's no view more button as well.

Good luck!

The logo and the landing page's layout look really good! However, the pictures kind of look unprofessional - like you just snapped them with your phone. Since it's a premium product that's kind of unfortunate. I would spend a few bucks and send one to a professional photographer to get some decent pictures. Also, the video is nice but it doesn't really explain why your product is better than the other ones. Nevertheless really cool product! Definitely keep us updated:) All the best!

Preorder for a product someone can go buy now probably turning some people away. Amazon has made us impatient.

[–] BenefitAmbitious8958@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Great landing page!

The only thing I would eventually change is the central videos to professional videography in a more controlled setting

The current videography looks like it was shot by an amateur on a newer iPhone, and while it isn’t bad, it does tone down the professionalism of the site

It could be better staged and directed, with some shots being faster paced, some shots being slowed down, and more moments utilizing emotional psychology (aka, silly cats) to trigger dopamine in prospective clients

[–] Machezee@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Add the benefits of the product to the video, I watched it and it looped and I didn’t really “meet” the forever stick

[–] Efficient_Ad2461@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Hey!

Here are the changes I would make to your landing page:

  1. Have the photos either professionally taken or 3D rendered. The current ones look like they were taken for an e-bay listing. The ones on the PDP are a little better.

  2. Communicate what the product is more clearly. You should be able to comprehend what the product is and what pain points the product solves without even scrolling. I didn't understand either. I also didn't even realize it was a cat wand until I got to the PDP.

  3. Too much white space. You have a ton of empty space on your page. Especially above the fold - which is oceanfront real estate. Use this space to sell the product.

  4. Clarify the offer. On the landing page, it says "pre-order yours today". But the product page doesn't mention anything about a pre-order.

If I’m coming to this page from an ad, why do I need the TikTok style attention catcher video? I’d imagine the video would have already been in the ad so you should be serving information about the customer could get from the toy, you already have their curiosity piqued

The video also takes too long to load, if you’re coming from an ad and need to wait 1-2s a lot of people are gonna bounce

Also why can’t I buy straight from the landing page? Should be a one tap to buy right at the bottom

[–] agency95@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Landing page is good enough imo. Your problem, and many others in my opinion, is trying to build a brand around a bullshit commodity product. “say goodbye to back strain”?! Like come on is anyone buying that as a benefit?

Some things are just meant to be sold for $5 at the local pet store or on Amazon.

The alibaba, resell the same garbage from China with a new brand is the plague of online shopping.

[–] AverageLiberalJoe@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Pictures maybe it look cheap. Color theme make it look cheap. Video is too fast and doesn't show me any of the value you claim your product has. Also it looks like a tik tok video which immediately make me think 'fake'. And the video also looks cheap.

At least your selling proposition was up front and center but the price was not. "Unbreakable cat you holder" ok fine, I had a cat. I don't remember that being a problem i ever wished was solved but maybe someone else does.

Im typing now and I can't remember what it was even called. If have no way of speaking word of mouth even if I wanted to.

It looks like you have zero sales and make this at home. As in there is no social proof. I don't want to be the first guy to send you money.

If it was my product, I think Id try to tell a story about a guy who made a company to sell innovative and high quality pet toys after getting frustrated with cheap imported garbage filled with microplastics and factory residue from big name pet brands who don't actually have animal friendly business practices.

The website checks off a lot of boxes, but really the issue is messaging. Like why should I buy a $50 cat play stick over a $5 one at Petsmart? I think you need to show your product in use more or have testimonials.

[–] DistinctTaste7878@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That's very true. I think I need more UGC and reviews.

And to your question - our cat wand is the only one where you can attach toys/baits directly at the tip. The other "solid stick" designs have all been single use, and our cats love the variety that it offers to have both with and without string!

[–] orange-capri-sun@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Honestly, I love the website, it has a great video for demonstration and is straight to the point which is so important bc the buyer wouldn't feel confused as to what the product is.

[–] DistinctTaste7878@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Thank you so much! Really appreciate the comment. Are you also a cat owner?

[–] orange-capri-sun@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I am indeed, and I'm compelled to buy the product, it's genuinely something I'd put my money into knowing it's tried and tested instead of buying loads of the cheaper options bc they always snap

[–] DistinctTaste7878@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Thank you! If you’d be open to it I’d love to have a quick video call with you, just to get feedback and hear your thoughts on the product and on our messaging. Then I can also properly show the product for you! Let me know if you would consider this. Thanks!

[–] orange-capri-sun@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Sure I'm open to it! Send me a dm and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Awesome, DM sent!
