It can depend of state to state too. In Oklahoma, our cost of living is considered low but we have a high poverty rate. Our median income per household is 67k, and single income is 35k. Childcare for infants averages around $800 a month

The joke is that trans people in the tech community are typically developers+Linux users with a propensity to prefer Rust for a programming language.

It's kinda funny, this is what Texas did to Oklahoma in regards to our teachers. Put up billboards saying that they paid more in Texas. It's depressing but it worked lol.
