I've been rocking my UTWS5 earhooks for over a year but they have their quirks.

Of course, you'll need your own IEMs to go with them but for the convenience of no cables they're a great product only for that purpose.

Q4 if you want sidetone, K5 is otherwise better.

Yeah Blacksharks have been based on old foldable headphone/ear defenders designs such as the 3M Peltors or aviation headphones. The original hinge design was meant for weight and cost reduction so I'm not surprised if it doesn't centre itself, but Razer and by extension some consumers think it looks cool I guess. If you're used to that style of hinge you can just about eyeball or adjust by feel while putting the headphones on. I've also seen some people use a blade to mark where the hinge extends to on each side on their own Peltors before.

I just wear ear defenders over IEMs and get nearly 30db of isolation

Spicy pillow went even spicier

I'm sorry but how much force are you putting in these clamps to break them?

I have more exposure to loud noises from living next to a busy road and long haul flights. Oh and the one time I stood too close to a musket, must've been over 180db max
