Look up police clearance rates for crimes. Their clearance rate for murders is around 50%. And that’s murders. Hit and runs and everything else and cops can’t be bothered. You could get your car stolen and have gps coordinated of where it is and cops would likely tell you there’s nothing they can do.

This is the third saddest thing I’ve seen today
Oklahoma should see if Zion’s mom is free. They could send her to cook for Chet.
Um…Dame. Did you forget how he repeatedly said he didn’t want to leave for years and people kept speculating about him leaving?
I love being a Nuggets fan. Everybody just ignores Jokic. He’s like the one guy nobody speculates if he’s leaving. There’s more talk about him retiring or quitting than him on another team lol
Alex English. He rarely gets the respect he is due. In his prime, he scored 29.8 points a game and would play 80 games a season. He had tons of Nuggets records but was rarely given the recognition he deserves.
Think of it this way, Jordan was so popular he retired and got to play in the minor leagues of another professional sport based purely on the fact that he was so beloved.
The moment he showed up in the minor leagues, he was popular with everyone else including the other teams because now their games would have more attendance.
There was some resentment by hardcore baseball fans because he “took a spot” from someone, but he did more for attendance and interest in a minor league team than probably any other minor leaguer ever.
Also, ESPN was hitting its stride in the 80s, we got to see highlights for basically his whole career, which can’t be said for a lot of earlier stars. He became a star at the right moment and had all the talent to back it up.
He played with their hearts, got lost in the game…
Obviously they want to show up and play as this is a contract year.
The only thing I hate though is the idea people throw around about how Ballmer doesn’t have a choice but to give them a boatload of money during the offseason because they’re opening a new arena next year.
They may be opening a new arena, but giving money to players who have done nothing other than play close to home is idiotic. Unless those contracts are incentive based or one year with player options, the clippers would be wise to mine on this off season.
