There's a big difference in generative image AI, and then AI for lets say the medical industry, Deepmind etc.

And yes, you can ban the first without the other.

Going for AI as a whole makes no sense, and this politician also makes it seem like it's the same.

Saying AI is the same as just saying internet, when you want to ban a specific site.

Alright, I go to work, my house and playing football.

All these things are in landscape. I know my shower is in portrait, which makes this post oddly good in this sub, but the rest of my rooms are also wider than tall.

If I could cut my work time by my driving time, because I would be able to work from the car, it would be an absolute game changer for my family life.

Also wont matter because 50% of the population would have to go to war, if he keeps this up.

If the west can do it why can't they?

I think you misunderstand the Wests position in this. We are the ones who funnel all our production and money to them for doing the dirty work.

If they dont do it, the West will find someone who will. There's too much money involved.

Well what do you propose? Ban Chinese and Indian goods? Are you buying it yourself?

Also, the list is much longer than China and India.

No, they wouldnt. Sustainable production costs more, making the product cost more.

Then everyone just buys from someone else with the cheapest price. It's capitalism as intended.

Lol, who do you think gives China and India money to produce everything? It's a world problem. Doesnt matter which country is producing it - everyone else is buying it.
