Theres a reason some of those watches are popular

If I buy a watch I keep it.

I also like to have a limited amount of watches. 3 is the most I'd have, since not wearing a watch kinda feels like a waste of money to me, but I understand people who have big collections.

I currently only have a Seiko 5 GMT

Im plasnning to get a watch to celebrate my masters degree, probably a Citizen AQ1010, or some GS quartz piece.

Then the final piece will be a luxury one way down the line

This is way harder than I thought, Im actually having trouble picking one. Id have to choose between these:

Cartier Tank Must

Rolex Air King 14010

Grand Seiko SBGW231

For me it doesn't happen. The Zulu time looks absolutely stunning in person, super sexy. But sometimes watches do look way better in pictures. For me the datejust looks super boring in real life, but in pictures it looks very good

Im also looking at the aq1010, but if you can get the aq4080 go for that one. The dial is beautiful

I would keep what you have and just save up for the bb54. Your watches are somewhat affordable and offer versatility. If you were to sell any, maybe the seiko would make sense, since it would be a diver for a diver.

Don't think so. Its a key characteristic of the watch. It wouldn't be the diver 300 without the valve. I personally like it. The watch looks amazing in person

I wouldn't say losing interest is the right word. Its the same with any hobby. Sometimes Im really into movies, then I enter a slump, same with books and video games.

With watches Im ok with not buying a bunch, and don't really want anymore except a dress piece. What I like is seeing other people's collections, and different content. And sometimes I don't even feel like watching that

Alligator would be my choice, as far as color goes, I'd go with black, dark brown, light brown, dark red, deep red, dark green

Amazing watch, one of my grails

This depends on your responsibilities and disposable income.

Im a college student and a one watch guy, at the moment my daily is in the sub 500 range, and Im thinking about getting a dressier piece, preferably in the same range. In the future I will get a luxury piece when I get more established in life.
