Hipsters going thru a retro phase.

"It's just like they used in the 80's!"

D200, D300S, D3400, D7200, D700, D810

Still have the D7200 and D810. Really want another D700 and maybe a D610

do you mean that aps-c has an advantage over full frame on in terms of shutter speed?

No, just the opposite. It won't matter which body you put the lens on, it will operate the same way. The "equivalent" you're chasing only pertains to FOV

Unless I'm at an event or something, yes.

Especially kids. I try to avoid having them in my shots.

I try to look thru the bargain-bins after Christmas for cheap toys to play macro with.

I try to use it as a reason to get out of the house and get to the park. But yeah, winter can be slow. Try and mix it with some other hobby.

My roomie is into Warhammer and often paints minis in the winter leaving them sitting out on display, so doing stuff with those can be kind of fun. Maybe pick up some hot-wheels or green army men and do diorama shots or something.

I did it when doing a volunteer shoot at one of the local pet hospitals. The clients really got a kick out of seeing the picture on the laptop the second I took it. Made slapping "print" and collecting $20 really easy.

FOV, but not range.

That can be confusing to newbies

"clarity may be lacking"

So is definition in this term. It means nothing.
