I like achievements. Outside the feeling of completion, they allow me:

  • to try some challenges I would never have the idea to try (e.g. the great Trine 2 achievements)
  • to decide when I am done with a game and can start up another.
  • to feel a bit proud when you achieve something only 5% or other players did.

This is such a good game: the story, atmosphere and music are top notch.

I was always really bad at the old commandos/desperados games. But in this one, everything made sense and the challenge was perfect. Maybe, by getting older, I have a bit more patience ๐Ÿ™‚

Excellent questions. Additionally, I want to add "how good a seedbox is protecting you ?"

Is there really some seedbox providers not collaborating with the authorities?

Even if this is the case, aren't some authorities doing Deep Packets Inspection, trying to break secure connections to check if some IP payload is fingerprint and copyrighted ?

I find this article somehow heartwarming.

5% here ๐Ÿ™‚

They made "the Ascent", a excellent cyberpunk twin stick shooter.

The environment in this game is beautiful.

So it all boils down to the first Wasteland. Thanks for the explanation!

When I played Fallout 3, there was a mission to help the rangers, with a special armor as reward. After finally playing New Vegas this year, I discovered the rangers are the elite troops of the NCR. Loosely related, in Wasteland 2 you also play a ranger.

Why are the rangers so present in post apocalyptic worlds now? Is this a cultural thing?

If I remember correctly, Fallout 1 and 2 didn't have any rangers.

On a side note, I think someone at Bethesda has a kink for rangers because they are also in Starfield ๐Ÿ˜

Heroic supports GOG achivements through Comet, which is enabled by default in the latest versions.

However there is no overlay so you need to check the GOG achievements webpage to see what you achieved/unlocked.

Try to get the deluxe version with the Mooncrash DLC, as the DLC alone is often expensive.

Linux does support TPM and secure boot: https://wiki/ .debian.org/SecureBoot#What_is_UEFI_Secure_Boot.3F

So the problem is really only about kernel level anticheat, not the secure boot itself ?
