AAC on Android is crappy, but on iPhone? Hell naw! It becomes one of the best codecs available for BT transmission.

Am I stupid for spending 380 Euro on a new pair of Sony WH-1000XM5's in c/headphones@hi-fi.community

Try entering the world of EQ. It can really upgrade your headphones, provided it is done correctly.
