What's the difference between a boiled egg and a poached egg? Theyre both just the egg cooked in water one with shell and one without
You burn more calories peeling the boiled egg.
I like how it says "if necessary." Like what possible scenario exists where it's necessary to poach an egg instead of hard boiling it lol
I imagine that eating exactly the same thing for multiple days would get tiring to say the least, so at least a different preparation would be welcome. Probably not necessary in the literal sense, but in the sense that you "need" something different.
maybe if the shell got a bit cracked before cooking? Might as well poach it at that point since it'll just leak a bunch of albumen into the pot anyways
