Gate > Late - functionally similar, lower-level spell slot but the journey also elapses like 1d8 hours
Fireball > Firebull - same damage and effect, but the appearance is of a bull of fire that just goes ape shit on everything in the area
Acid Arrow > Acid Marrow - A small amount of the target's bone marrow turns into acid, dealing the normal damage
