About your emergency car kit:
A tire inflator (small air compressor) is a great addition. Saves money by not driving to a station and paying to fill the tires. Also, most people don't pull the spare out from under the trunk floor to check it's pressure (I'd have to empty the trunk to do so). If I have to use the spare, it's only a few minutes to fill it up.

Edit: a longer lugnut wrench wouldn't hurt either. Garages always put the nuts on too tight and the extra leverage could be necessary to change the wheel.
We have those in both cars, also jumping cables.
And I'm getting some extra fuses also (tho I don't know if modernish cars actually have burnt out fuse issue).
Having jumper cables is good, but I also recommend getting a jump starter battery kit (I just searched "jump starter" on Amazon and saw a bunch) and checking that it is charged ~monthly. It lets you jump your car even if no one else is nearby, and as a bonus, many of them have USB outputs to charge small electronics such as phones! (edit: phrasing, add charge check frequency)
