phpBB is forum software written in PHP. It was notable for being free, whereas its contemporary competitors, Invision and vBulletin, cost money. They were all pretty popular in the 2000s and early 2010s before MySpace and Facebook kinda took everything over.

Nice try. The space shuttle exploded when I was in high school. My first computer was Windows 3.11
