I guess that even at my poorest, which wasn't all that long ago and was rock bottom, I understood the difference between price and cost.
If you got to choose to spend 20-30% more on food because of your principles and feelings about the store then you have no idea what rock bottom is.
You've never even seen the rock dude.
Did you understand the cost of a 75 minute drive to avoid walmart?
I have to catch an extra bus to get to the affordable grocery store, and the transfer point is the same stop as going to wally anyways. I hate it but material conditions are what they are.
You have bus infrastructure?
Sounds like your rock bottom wasn't that rock bottom, then.
