Haberstroh wrote an article about CP3 and Foster on his substack but he tweeted out this stat and it's astounding.

reddit wants me to add more thoughts so I'll just add that Scott Foster is closely tied with a corrupt gambling ref and shouldn't have been allowed to officiate for the last 20 years.

https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/scott-foster-recipient-of-134-tim-donaghy-phone-calls-refereeing-celtics-heat-game-3/

Foster is the official who received 134 phone calls from disgraced referee Tim Donaghy between October 2006 and April 2007, as originally reported by FOX News. That was the same period during which Donaghy admitted to betting on NBA games. The report said that Donaghy called Foster more than any other ref and that he didn't call any other official more than 13 times.

Until someone watches these games and addresses the actual calls, this shit is just lazy click bait.

Every time it's posted CP3 is in the wrong. Like he's clearly the aggressor in this one and should have been ejected. He has some personal issue with Foster.

He was mad about a foul that happened a couple plays ago. He was called for an offensive foul by Foster, Kerr challenged it, the challenge was unsuccessful, but it was actually a foul on Looney. He should have gotten a tech, but the second one? No. That’s what Kerr was arguing about. Two quick techs to throw out a player for just some talk while the ref is also talking back, like come on. There are no consequences for the ref for talking back when he should have just walked away like a ref is supposed to do. Steph & Kerr brought this up too in their presser

Yeah exactly, where is the code of conduct for a referee enforced?

He literally calls Scott foster a bitch. There’s video of it lmao. That’s an instant tech no matter what ref.

Mate just admit you didn’t watch the game. The called him a bitch AFTER he was ejected, not before.

Even if you don't watch, 52 free throws in a game happens to a team once a decade. He's not even trying to hide his intentions.

The lazy here is you. Go watch the games. Suns playoffs are a good starting point.

He’s not the one making this claim though, OP is. You don’t get to make shit up then say other people have to prove it

[–] SnarfSniffsStardust@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

OPs hardly making any claims, he’s talking facts. He laid out trend data and then also pointed out corroborating evidence with the Donaghy stuff. Sounds like it’s on you to make a counter argument because that’s very convincing stuff he put up there

The Giannis ejection (which frankly was far worse than CP3's ejection) has already been forgotten about with no news of punishment for that ref or a rescinding of the Giannis techs. I'll bet my bottom dollar that nothing will be done about Scott Foster.
