DelistedGames lists games that were, at one point, available for play or digital "purchase", but are no longer so.

I want to know if there are any sites that lists games that never had any sort of digital release - stuff like Battlefield Vietnam, Universe at War or Freelancer.

I can't figure if mobygames has some sort of filter to show only games currently on sale, that would suffice

A significant number of games released before 2005 had digital releases later. It's basically GOGs whole thing.

If only GOG was not so problematic with its restorations. A game designed for X era not running on an X era machine because GOG decided to fiddle around with it and break its compatibility on the system. My Windows 7 machine was not very happy with GOG. More power to them for keeping old games alive and DRM-free, but that was a nightmare dealing with.

Yeah I guess they have limited resources, and their aim is to have the older games work on modern PCs. Not sure when you were doing this but I can absolutely understand that Windows 7 compatibility isn't a focus for them in 2026 since MS support ended in 2023.
