Bruh. Are you fucking kidding me? Everyone who has been arguing for bike lanes and public transit has been calling it something along the lines of freedom of movement for years. We've been mocking how "muh freedum" people also see a veritable tank as the only reasonable means of getting from place to place, and oppose everything else. You DO NOT need knobby tires and 4WD and a 6 inch lift to go to Sam's Club. You'll be perfectly fine doing it in a stock Toyota Corolla.
It's always projection. In reality, the right-wingers are the ones trying to tie bike lanes to "identity politics."
They tie anything they're told to to identity politics. I don't think they can comprehend reality at all without that filter on constantly.
Right-wingers are unable to distinguish between the content and the frame, so they assume that however conservative media packaged a leftist argument for them is just how it came from the source.
