Edit- but seriously why do they hate bike lanes? I thought even motorists appreciate them because it gets bikes off the main lanes and out of traffic? Or like, does he want bikes gone all together? I'm so confused.
It's not some mystery. The car cult is an overtly fascist death cult controlled by evil corporations.
They are associated with the left. It's "woke".
Bikes are very much left-wing because they support environmentalism, sustainability, equality, democracy, etc., while opposing waste, destruction, violence, privilege, grifting, etc.
Cars <---> Fascism.
That's not really a reason. Psychos celebrating losing infrastructure idk.
Nobody here ever said the car cult is rational.
