Excluding Canada which basically has the same development system as America, why is the rest of the world not producing any good guards? All the good international players are 6'8+. Luka, Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, Siakam, Sabonis, Markannen, Porzingis, Sengun, Gobert etc. Meanwhile who is the best small international player? Dennis Schroder? Kind of an interesting discrepancy

There have been a lot of euroleague guards trying in the NBA but most of them returned to Europe very fast. They play the game very differently and it's not easy for them to become a role player in the NBA. Also the athleticism of NBA guards is out of this world, it's very difficult to find a starting spot.

To answer the original question: Micic, schroder, Mills, Simmons, exum, giddey, Fournier, bogdanovic and Osman are some of the current guards in the NBA outside north america
