Excluding Canada which basically has the same development system as America, why is the rest of the world not producing any good guards? All the good international players are 6'8+. Luka, Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, Siakam, Sabonis, Markannen, Porzingis, Sengun, Gobert etc. Meanwhile who is the best small international player? Dennis Schroder? Kind of an interesting discrepancy

The first point before we even get to an answer is quite simply this: you're not a guard because you're small. Look at the Euroleague, and you'll see how many bigger players are running the point.
