Say they have a full season together to learn, scheme, and mesh. How good would they be in their second season?

I am assuming that Pop would do a better job of reigning in all the iso play that the Clippers currently live and die by. He would also be better at finding which rotations work.

I would also hope that the stars respond better to his coaching? Either they will play as a team or they will implode. I suppose both possibilities are likely considering the players.

Are they a playoff team? A contender? Would everyone clash with his coaching style and end up rebuilding by the end of the season?

The clippers issue is the Russ and harden combo you don’t need both of those guys to have big roles and they traded for harden and have Russ coming off the bench yet they still insist on forcing the 2 together.

Harden needs to be the point guard he has no off ball skill and just looks lost out there, he has no idea what a catch and shoot 3 is either so him and Russ are just hanging around putting no pressure on the defence. Harden is also way too passive I understand he is the 3rd option but half the time it looks like Lue told him not to shoot the ball.

Russ is still playing heavy minutes and taking a good number of shots it’s just too much of a roll to accommodate when 3 better players need the ball for significant amounts of time. As long as Russ is playing a big role it’s not even possible for 3 other stars to get in a rhythm. Either Kawhi or George gets in rhythm while the other sucks and James just tries to accommodate everyone.
