I don’t think Cade is a bust by any means yet but it’s disheartening seeing him not be as good as we all thought he’d be. It may just be this roster, coaching staff, or ownership but he’s not the can’t-miss prospect we all thought he was in his current state.

He isn’t a bust but clearly not, ‘that dude’ caliber. Look like he might already be giving up on detroit and looking for a way out too.

it would be shocking if he didn't sign a rookie max extension with detroit

he would be leaving tens of millions on the table, possibly more if no other team wants to give him a regular max

Detroit will let him go into RFA and match whatever. Of course Cade will be arguing for the max extension 4+1 this summer. Other teams can only offer less money and a 3+1 no way their shitty owner doesn't want to save money.
