I guess Rivian is a car brand, huh? I was imagining Geralt of Rivia trying to plug Roach in there.

Geralt of Rivia

That very Rivia is where the cars come from.

I thought it was frictional? But I guess 80% of the Witcher is based on existing mythology or places, there are several Novigrads (meaning 'New City') in Croatia for example.

They’re joking. Rivian is an American car company, their cars come from America.

After being renamed as Avera Automotive[15] or Avera Motors, and finally Rivian Automotive in 2011 (a word play on the Indian River in Florida, where Scaringe grew up),[16] the company began focusing on autonomous and electric vehicles.[17]

rivian is a up and coming startup, whose largest push was when they got the contract from amazon to design their EV delivery trucks. so within the next couple of years their portfolio and options will increase, and become cheaper.

It's a SUV EV whose drivers (so far as I can tell) are just as bad as tesla drivers.

something about paying 120k+ for a truck that's not built by an actual car company.

They have a truck and SUV. The truck is kinda neat because it has a compartment at the front of the bed that can mount pullout accessories like a kitchenette for use while camping.

They're actually a bit cheaper at around $80k-$90k which is a lot of money no doubt, but not out of line for other trucks that also won't be used for 'real truck stuff' like 90% of truck owners.

Nobody is taking a 90k luxury truck camping- sorry. The interior would be ruined after a single fishing trip, nevermind actually going off onto dirt roads (or no-roads,)

These are being sold to city-dwellers that want to convince people they’re not city dwellers. (Same as the trucks you mentioned.)

How would the interior be ruined after a fishing or camping trip? This makes me think you've never been fishing or camping.

Mud, sand rocks from wading, etc.

Unless you’re talking about taking kids off a pier, fishing is not a clean sport.
