For Chrissakes, Biden was famous for saying gaffes even when he was the youngest Senator. This is another gaffe. And nothing to see here. Move along.

In this context and with the stakes so high, it's a terrible time to have said gaffe.

Why? Some people have stutters. I do. It's not even an anxious thing. I know how to speak in public and I don't get nervous since I have done it so many times. But occasionally I just step on my own feet so to speak. The other items it's perfectly normal. I don't understand how sometimes miss handling every here and there means they aren't intelligent.

Its just more that its probably related to his mental decline with age, considering he's be older than the average life expectancy of an american. This may further hinder his ability as a leader over the next 4 years - which I think is a valid concern for both sides left and right, and that losing the ability to criticise your own leader essentially means losing your ability to have a say beyond a binary choose (democrats or republicans).

I don't like people bringing this to an ableist perspective because there are always going to be things disabled people are unable to do, ie you wouldnt want a blind crane operator.

(Little side now down here but anyone else see he's requested official events take place before 8pm, theoretically because he is sundowning? Like this man has control over and is currently bombing cities day by day yet is hardly able to say awake as long as some citizens work in a single shift.)

Pps, I didn't compare anything to trump here cause I have a much longer paragraph to rant about him that wasn't really related, but I want to give context that I'm about as far from a right wing supporter as can be

I appreciate your response and agree he has some downsides.

This is why I think they should have replaced him. You may not like it, but the media is going to be picking up every little gaffe from now on. That's just the (shitty) way they work
