Gobert should’ve gone faster, but Troy Brown should’ve stayed in the corner to keep Demar honest. That cut made no sense.

He was backing out of the cut until gobert signalled him to cut again

He did stop and thought about backing out but Gobert told him to keep going, lol.

And even if Brown stayed put, what was Gobert gonna do? Dude has zero post game and is a shitty passer. When Gobert gets the ball he needs to pass it back out or put it in the hoop asap cause he has no idea what to do with the ball.

He was gonna pass it to him but another guy rotated to maintain the double and the guy defending him rotated to brown.

Honestly what a nice defensive sequence even if it’s just gobert on an island lol.

As soon as Gobert saw another defender coming to help he got flustered and panicked. He brought the ball to his left which made it impossible for him to pass to the cutter on his right when Brown finally cut (cause Gobert told him to). Gobert should not be asking for the ball in the post unless he's immediately putting the ball up to score or passing within 2 seconds.

Brown loses DeMar on the cut and could have been a bucket if Rudy passed it to him
