I was thinking today, I’ve seen talks about people entering their prime at really old ages, like Karl Malone for example. But that made wonder, who hit the peak of their career at the younger ages? For example, micheal carter Williams practically peaked in his rookie year.

Most of these guys were had career threatening injury at times that full recovery was doubtful. Unfair to add them to this list cos they weren't even playing enough anymore. That said, Andrei Kirilenko had like one good Jazz year and sort of felt irrelevant afterwards.

Michael Redd comes to mind as another player who felt irrelevant after that all-star run

Hill was 28 that last season in Detroit before the foot issues. That's right around when an NBA player should peak. Fair to say his prime was shortened, but the trajectory on the way there wasn't particularly out of the ordinary.

McGrady's a good one. He was productive for most of his 20s but peak TMac was early 00's in ORL when he was averaging 30 and in the best player in the league discussion, and he was only like 24. Ideally he would've only improved from there.
